Service Architecture for
the Nomadic Internet Users of the Future
GO project is an enterprise developing a nomadic computing
infrastructure for the campus of HUT
(Helsinki University of Technology) located in Otaniemi. The
wireless network will be based on the fixed network being built by HUT
MediaPoli.

The project has developed two major open source software titles:
A vision of the future
The project is aimed to create a vision of the future mobile
communications. The wireless infrastructure to be built will act as a
testbed for the future mobile applications.
Wireless Internet
The wireless infrastructure creates new challenges and opportunities.
The ubiquity and mobility enables the use of new Internet services and
new ways of using the old services.
